Obayashi's Anti-War Trilogy Movies

The “Anti-War Trilogy” is a loose thematic grouping of late-career films by Nobuhiko Obayashi, consisting of Casting Blossoms to the Sky (2012), Seven Weeks (2014), and Hanagatami (2017). While not connected through a continuous narrative, the three films collectively confront the legacy of war, memory, and loss from personal and historical perspectives.
