Xiaolong lives together with his grandfather and his cat in a little town in rural china After graduating from elementary school he plans to visit the citys middle school together with his two best friends Lele and Meimei But Xiaolongs father wants him to move to Shanghai and visit a school there Xiaolong doesnt want to leave so he runs away with his cat and finds shelter on a deserted roof
