Plot
A sick young woman Mariam comes back to Burkina Faso after having left as a young child who was adopted and sent out to South Africa where she always felt alien She returns as an ailing young adult to the land of her birth on a journey of selfdiscovery to spend her last days in the land of her forefathers She does not know the language culture or norms She is on a quest to reconnect with her family and her roots Mariam goes on a road trip to visit her village in the south west of Burkina Faso She first lands in the bustling town of Ouagadougou
