An American film series adaptation of Ayn Rand's 1957 novel Atlas Shrugged, which follows railroad executive Dagny Taggart and steel mogul Henry Rearden, who form an alliance to fight the increasingly authoritarian US government. Each film failed at the box office, resulting in significant cast and crew changes.
