Plot
When the forces of Starship America lead by the villainous President Johnson (Donald Sutherland) invades the Afrofuturist planet New Africa, desperate for resources it’s up to Grandmaster Funk (William Marshall) to assemble a team of musical freedom fighters (Pam Grier, Yaphet Kotto, Jim Brown) to inspire revolt among the people of the planet, and take their revenge on President Johnson.
