Mara Venier Biography
Mara Venier (born Mara Povoleri; 20 October 1950) is an Italian actress and television presenter. She began her career in film and television in the 1970s before becoming widely known as host of the long-running Rai 1 variety show Domenica In, a role she has held in multiple seasons since 1993 and for which she is considered a defining figure in Italian Sunday television.
In addition to her work on Domenica In, Venier has appeared in a number of films and TV series and remains a prominent personality in Italian entertainment.
