Hussain Munawwar known as Kuda Foolhu is a Maldivian film director actor and cinematographer His breakthrough came in 2006 when he portrayed the manipulative character Kudafoolhu in the short film series Vasvaas He later starred in Loodhifa 2011 and made his directorial debut with Sazaa a romantic drama Despite negative reviews for his second film Dhilakani Munawwars talent as a director was recognized earning him accolades at the Gaumee Film Awards His work explores themes of vengeance redemption and societal issues
