Gigi Lau Chi Fan

Lau Chi Fan Gigi graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with a degree in Creative Media and gained acclaim by winning the Best Fictional Film Award for The Smokies. Beyond her role as a commercials director, she passionately produces multiple short films. In 2024, she made a directorial comeback with Ping Pong Heartbeats, exploring the inner conflict of a female photographer torn between the innocence of a model and the mature soul of a choreographer.

Currently, she is enrolled in the Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild Masterclass in Film Directing and actively developing her new project, Unconditional Love.
