Francisco Canaro Biography
Francisco Canaro, artistic name of Francisco Canarozzo (b. November 26, 1888 in San José, Uruguay - d. December 14, 1964 in Buenos Aires, Argentina), was a Uruguayan tango composer, violinist, orchesta director and producer, nationalized Argentine in 1940. He is widely considered one of the most important musicians in the history of Tango.
