Eduardo Santos Montejo Biography
Eduardo Santos Montejo (Bogotá, August 28, 1888 - Ibidem, March 27, 1974) was a Colombian lawyer, politician, humanist and journalist. He was a member and president of the Colombian Academy of History during the 1940s and 1950s, and head of the Liberal Party, influencing political decisions in his country for almost forty years. He is considered one of the great humanists of the twentieth century in Colombia.
