Carlos Alvarez is a filmmaker from Jacksonville, FL. While building his filmography, Carlos enjoys watching films as much as he likes making them, taking inspiration from filmmakers like Richard Linklater, Wong Kar-Wai, Jim Cummings, Edgar Wright, Wes Anderson and Jacques Tati. He hopes to use the art to capture the weird but often beautiful essence of the world around him and makes films about people trying their best.
He hopes to make empathetic films, as those are the only kind that penetrate the skin.
