Andrew R. Taylor Biography
Andrew Ryan Taylor (born September 13, 2005) is an American Filmmaker from Elk Grove, CA. Taylor's interest in filmmaking began upon watching behind-the-scenes DVD bonus material for his favorite childhood movies. At the age of 12, he began writing his own screenplays, learning the craft and form as he went along. During his time at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento, Taylor was given the means to put his study of film and writing to use.
The 2024 short 'Bystander' was the first film he successfully wrote and directed, chosen by his peers to open for the Fall 2024 RTVF Film Screening. Taylor is also on the autism spectrum. He lives with his family, and is attending California State University, Sacramento, majoring in Film Production.
